Sliding Scale Available
I believe therapy should be accessible. If cost is a barrier, let's talk about it. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need.
Insurance Accepted
I accept the following insurance plans. Contact your provider to verify your coverage and benefits before your first session.
If I'm out-of-network for your plan, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.

frequently asked questions
The first session is all about getting to know each other. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. You can ask me questions too! It's a chance for both of us to see if we're a good fit.
It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some people come for a few months to work on a specific issue, while others find ongoing therapy helpful for longer periods. We'll check in regularly about your progress and adjust as needed.
No, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), not a psychiatrist or prescriber. If medication might be helpful, I can provide referrals to prescribers and work collaboratively with your prescriber to coordinate your care.
I ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee. I know life happens—if there's an emergency, just let me know and we'll figure it out.
Yes, with a few legal exceptions. I'm required to break confidentiality if there's imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or if records are subpoenaed by a court. We'll discuss this more in our first session.
Yes! I offer telehealth sessions for anyone located in Kansas. Telehealth works well for many people and offers more flexibility. We'll use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
That's totally okay! Not every therapist-client match works out, and that's normal. If you don't feel like we're clicking, I'll help you find someone who might be a better fit. The most important thing is that you get the help you need.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
