how I can help
what I treat
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, religious trauma, identity, and neurodivergence. Here's more about what that looks like.
Anxiety
When your brain won't shut up
Racing thoughts. Constant worry. Feeling on edge. Social anxiety that makes you avoid plans or cancel at the last minute. The endless "what ifs" that keep you up at night.
Anxiety shows up differently for everyone, and I'll help you understand what's driving yours. Together, we'll figure out what's actually going on beneath the surface and build practical strategies that work for your life.
You might relate to:
- • Overthinking every conversation after it happens
- • Avoiding social situations or canceling plans
- • Physical symptoms like tension, racing heart, or stomach issues
- • Difficulty making decisions because "what if it's wrong?"
Depression
When everything feels heavy
Some days it's hard to get out of bed. You're going through the motions but don't really feel present. Things that used to bring you joy now feel... meh. Or maybe you're functioning just fine on the outside while struggling on the inside.
Depression doesn't always look like sadness. Sometimes it looks like numbness, irritability, or just feeling disconnected from your life. I'll help you understand what's happening and find your way back to yourself.
You might relate to:
- • Low energy or motivation, even for things you used to enjoy
- • Feeling disconnected from yourself or your life
- • Changes in sleep or appetite
- • Persistent feelings of sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness
Religious Trauma
Deconstructing & healing
Maybe you grew up in a high-control religious environment. Maybe you're in the messy middle of deconstruction, questioning everything you were taught. Maybe you've left your faith entirely and are figuring out who you are without it.
Religious trauma is real, and the process of deconstructing (or reconstructing) your beliefs is valid and worthy of support. I provide a judgment-free space to explore your experiences, process the harm, and figure out what you believe now.
You might relate to:
- • Questioning beliefs you were raised with
- • Guilt or shame tied to religious teachings
- • Navigating relationships affected by your faith shift
- • Figuring out your identity and values outside of religion
Neurodivergence
Autism, ADHD & beyond
Maybe you've always felt different—like everyone else got a manual for life that you never received. Maybe you're wondering if you might be autistic or have ADHD. Maybe you have a diagnosis and are figuring out what it means for your life.
I'm neurodivergence-affirming, which means I don't see your brain as broken or something to be fixed. I'll help you understand yourself better, work with your brain instead of against it, and build a life that actually works for you.
You might relate to:
- • Feeling like you've always been "different"
- • Masking to fit in and feeling exhausted by it
- • Struggling with executive function, sensory issues, or social situations
- • Wondering if autism or ADHD might explain your experiences
I also work with...
A note on hard topics: I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about self-harm and thoughts of suicide. These are experiences that deserve compassion and support, not shame. If you're struggling with these thoughts, you're not alone, and we can work through it together.
